John Gray's Complete Bookshelf
With Reviews and Reader Comments Here

John Gray has turned his claim that men and women are from different planets into a multimillion-dollar personal growth industry. Born in Texas, the son of an oil man and a spiritual book dealer, Gray stumbled into transcendental meditation in high school and studied with the Marahishi Mahesh Yogi for a decade, eventually becoming his personal assistant. After years of celibacy and natural highs, he met his first wife, Barbara De Angelis, and the two began holding relationship workshops. The marriage ended when De Angelis took up with another man. Gray picked up the pieces with an old flame, Bonnie. Gray's third book, Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus sold over six million copies and stayed on the bestseller list for over 200 weeks. Now, Gray's empire serves alienated men and women with seminars, CD-ROMs, Mars and Venus vacations, and counseling franchises. His sellout Broadway show in February 1997 was trounced by critics but embraced by his cult of followers. The future holds a movie deal, a sitcom, and many more Mars and Venus books.
