Ozzy Osbourne Recommendations

When Ozzy Osbourne cofounded Black Sabbath in the early 1970s, he helped define one of hard rock's most memorable outfits. Their carefully lumbering intensity would, however, be left aside when Osbourne formed his own Blizzard of Ozz, which flared with guitarist Randy Rhodes's prodigious heavy metal chops. After Rhodes's untimely death in 1982, Osbourne pushed onwards, experiencing a career surge with his Ozzfest tour packages in the 1990s. Here are Osbourne's essential recordings.
